_______Survey on Wind Turbines_______

Wind turbines, for electricity production, are being proposed in a wide variety of environments - both onshore and offshore. Sometimes they are opposed because of their influence on the visual landscape. The project involves assessment of computer simulations of typical windfarms.

The survey has been developed by Ian Bishop, Department of Geomatics, University of Melbourne 3010, Australia (idbishop@unimelb.edu.au) and David Miller, Macaulay Land Use Research Institute, Aberdeen, Scotland.
