Position: PhD Student

Teaching: Marking for Remote Sensing subjects within the Department.

Research: The application of high resolution satellite data to land use and land cover mapping.

Biography: Nicola completed her Bachelor of Geomatics in 1998 and her Bachelor of Arts in 1999. Her Arts Major was Physical Geography. During her time at the University of Aalborg, Denmark (exchange program from Nov 1997 - February 1998), she began her final year project on accuracy of crop-type classification. Her work in this area will be extended during her Ph.D. involving the creation of land-use maps of Victoria utilizing high resolution satellite imagery.
