Position: PhD Student

Teaching: Has conducted lectures for Geomatics Science 1 & 2, demonstrating and marking for Remote Sensing subjects within the Department. Lecturer for Remote Sensing for Geologists at Monash in 1998 (in Joe's absence).

Research: The application of high resolution satellite data to mapping of the seafloor.

Biography: Michael gained his Bachelor of Geomatics in 1996 from the University of Melbourne. His final year project, and primary interest, was in the use of remote sensing in mapping of the shallow sea-floor. This work was extended for his Masters Degree, which he gained in 1999 also from this University. He is currently on leave from his Ph.D.
