Biography
Mehdi Ravanbakhsh studied surveying engineering specialising in photogrammetry in Tehran. He has recently completed his PhD in Hannover-Germany at Institute of Photogrammetry and GeoInformation (IPI). During his research in Hannover, he developed computer vision methods and algorithms for the extraction of road crossings from very high resolution aerial imagery. Currently, he is leading a project in field of sensor orientation of space imagery at Coopretaive Research Center for Spatial Information (CRCSI) http://www.crcsi.com.au/.
